Community/Social Development Education Programme

This programme is also a non-profit-oriented programme of the Asia Language and Business Academy (ALBA) aiming at educational development of grass-root level rural communities in Myanmar.

Under this programme:

  • ALBA has launched Training-for-the-Trainers Programme at the SeikPhooTaung monastery orphanage school which has 650 students at KyeikHto, over 100 miles away from Yangon.
  • ALBA has donated textbooks and provided English language proficiency trainings at the International Buddhism University at Sagaing (in the middle part of Myanmar).
  • ALBA has provided teachers of Thong Gwa Monastic Education Center with incentive Training related to environmental awareness and sustainable development.
  • ALBA cooperates with Mr. Yi-Lin Tarng and members of the Wu-ching-ting Lien Jung Confucian & Buddhist Society, Republic of China in providing many orphanage centers across Myanmar with adequate amount of funding to fulfill their requirements and to enhance educational quality of local students.
