International Education at ASIA Language & Business Academy (ALBA)

Why is an international education so important? To succeed in today’s global environment, students increasingly need to complement their academic and career learning with the international skills that allow them to understand and work with people from other countries. An education which provides these skills and, most importantly, is transferable from country to country with a minimum of difficulty, is very important. ASIA Language & Business Academy (ALBA), with its international education, provides students with this ability.

What are ALBA’s aims for Primary Program?

A.L.B.A’s aims For Primary Classes are:

To provide children with an internationally recognized education.
To enable children to easily transfer to any international school abroad after completion of certain grades at ALBA.
To provide a learning place that is stimulating and fun and which provides an atmosphere that encourages knowledge of the world in which they live, as well as builds on what they learn in other areas of their life.
To instill in the children the self confidence that they will need to implement what they’ve learned in the classroom throughout their daily life.

Classes to attend

Depending on children’s age and placement test results, they will be placed in different grades as follows.

Teachers at ALBA

All Class Teachers are qualified and well-experienced native English-speaking teachers assisted by talented and experienced local assistant teachers.

Assessments

Exams will be held every six weeks. Tests will be conducted at the discretion of the teacher.

Enrollment Procedure

Children will be required to take a placement test before enrollment, in order to help us place them in suitable grades.

Payment of School Fees

School fees can be paid semester by semester (every 3 months)
5% discount can be enjoyed if the school fees for the academic year (9 months) are paid in full.
School fees will not be raised by more than 20% per year.

English Requirement

If a child is very weak in English, he/she will be required to attend weekend English proficiency classes at ALBA. If a child has to attend these classes, he/she will receive 10% discount on the payment made for these classes.

Students’ Facilities

Every student will be provided with a pre-paid account and a password. Students will have real-time electronic access to pre-paid account balance, prepaid account transactions and exam results at ALBA.
Using their respective usernames and passwords, students will have free access to high-speed broad-band Internet connected to about 40 computers.
Students can also have free access to wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) system in the school building.
The school computer system will not allow students under 12 to have access to computer games that are violent in nature.
Students will enjoy 5% discount on every purchase made at the School Canteen using their pre-paid accounts.
Students will have free access to the school’s library.
Students will enjoy 10% discount on payment made to attend any other classes available at ALBA.
