What are ALBA's aims?

A.L.B.A's aims For Young Learner Classes are:

• To provide young learners of English a balanced, inter-active and task -based approach to all four English skills. ( Listening, reading, writing and speaking)
• To encourage our young English learners to strive to improve in their interactive skills, as well as to continually make progress in their linguistic development and other fundamental skills.
• To provide an atmosphere that encourage the children to learn and help broaden our student's knowledge of the world in which they live in, as well as to build on what they learn in other areas of their school life. A learning place that is stimulating and fun.
• To instill in the children the self confidence that they will need that will help them implement what they've learned in the classroom throughout their daily life.

What will your child gain?

Upon the completion of the course:

• He / She will have improved in all four of the English skills. (Speaking, Listening, reading and writing)
• He / She will have the confidence needed to communicate, interact, and work together with people from different backgrounds.

What topics are covered in the classroom?

• The 4 skills (Speaking ,listening reading and writing)
• Knowledge(such as world history, Social Studies, Science) through English Language

Who teaches your kids?

Teachers for all classes are qualified and well-experienced native English-speaking teachers assisted by talented and experienced local assistant teachers.

What course books do we use?

• English Language Books published by Cambridge University and Oxford University Press.
• We also provide downloaded English lessons available from many famous teaching websites.

How do we make English learning fun? During class, young learners learn through:

• Worksheets
• Games
• Story telling
• Role playing
• Puzzle and crossword
• Art activities

Assessments and Awards:

• Our student's progress is continually monitored and assessment tests are given every three month.
• After the months rests are completed, students who excel in their class receive a prize awarded by ALBA. Students'

Students’ facilities

• Classrooms are all fully air-conditioned equipped with audio, video and wireless internet facilities.
• Students are entitled to use computer lap with 40 computers connected to high-speed broad-band internet free of charge for educational purposes. Wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) system is also available at every corner of the whole school building.
• School computer system will not allow students under 12 to have an access to computer games that are violent in nature.
• Students can freely use all language and business related books and audio available at ALBA's mini-library composed of thousands of internationally recognized curricula and syllabi.
• Students can trace their educational progress, pre-paid transactions, internet usage and status of book-loans from library that are updated on real time basis through ALBA's computer system by scanning their smart cards.
• Students may attend all workshops or seminars arranged by ALBA from time to time.
• Students are entitled to free consultations with ALBA's educational consultants to further their studies abroad.
